We can also handle medical transcription in German language or can translate into German.
Transcription Process
The audio files to be transcribed are uploaded via our secure server, from where they are then retrieved by our medical transcriptionists. The data is transcribed and then passed to our certified quality assurance specialists who check the transcription for accuracy, ensuring that all medical terms are spelt correctly. Twenty five percent of completed jobs are checked again at random to ensure our high standards.
The transcribed documents are then uploaded to the Documents on Demand server and the customer is immediately notified that his/her job is ready for download.
Turnaround Time
We guarantee a maximum turnaround time of 24 hours for any transcription job. If your job is not completed within this twenty four hour period, we will not charge you for this job, unless a delay on your part has caused the whole job to be rescheduled.
For urgent jobs, we can turn these round in four to five hours, should you require this.

Pricing
We charge on the basis of lines of output - one line is defined as 65 characters of text including spaces.
We can provide a quote on the basis of minutes of recording time, should you require this. We will need to run a pilot before we can provide you with an accurate quote as the number of words per recorded minute varies from speaker to speaker and from job to job.
Data Security
The Documents on Demand server utilises 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. Access to your account is via user name and password.
While we keep a record of all medical transcription jobs, and a copy of your data is stored on our server for a default 48 hour period after a job is completed or until you delete it (whichever is earlier), all local copies of data used by our transcription teams are digitally shredded once the finished document is uploaded to our server.
Once a job is completed, only the customer and our administrators can see the data on our server until it is picked up by the customer. At this stage, the customer has the option of marking the job as closed which means that all data relating to that job are deleted. If the customer chooses not to delete the data, this will be retained on the system for a further period which by default is 48 hours but can be set to a figure of your choice.
Privacy
We aim to protect your privacy and that of your patients. We follow strict guidelines for the processing of your data. To help us protect your clients’ privacy, we request that you withhold all information that could be used to identify a person. All personal information such as names and addresses should be added to your documents once a job has been returned to you.
