What are the benefits of using Documents on Demand?

The benefits of Documents on Demand are:

You only pay for a service as and when you need it - for example to deal with extra workload during busy periods or to maintain cover when staff are off sick or on holiday
 
You only pay for what you get - we charge on the basis of lines of output generated
 
We can save you money by removing your need to recruit extra secretarial staff with all the costs that this entails

Documents on Demand can become a fully incorporated part of your business. Whether you are a medical consultant, medical secretary, or an independent lawyer or a small business, we can provide the administrative support that suits you.

What guarantees do Documents on Demand offer?

If there is a problem with any of the work we do for you which is attributable to us, we will be happy to make any changes necessary at no charge. If you are still not happy with our work, there will of course be no charge. Please see our SLA.

What is Transcription?

Transcription is the process of turning dictated notes into written transcripts. In the broadest sense, transcription is the act of translating from oral to printed form (on paper or in electronic form).

We are used to having our transcription customised. Will this be possible?

At Documents on Demand, our aim is to produce reports that meet your needs. We will format your documents as you require them and work with you for your special needs be it letterhead with your logo or anything else you require.

How do I pay?

We offer two distinct services:

Pay-as-you-go - You purchase credit in advance and top up your credit as and when you need to. We accept payment by credit card or debit card, cheque or bank transfer.
 
Pay-monthly - You pay at the end of the month for all work carried out during that month. Payment will usually be by bank transfer or cheque.

When do I pay?

With Pay-as-you-go, you buy credit in advance for the use of our service.
 
With Pay-monthly, you pay at the end of the month for all work completed within that month. Payment is due within 7 days of the end of the month.

What if I'm not satisfied with the quality of your work?

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work, please contact us immediately so that we can discuss your complaint. If we are unable to resolve the issue, there will of course be no charge for that part of the work. See our SLA.

What backups do you keep?

A copy of your data is stored on our server for a default 48 hour period after a job is completed or until you delete it. Should you require it, you can extend this 48 hour period for as long as you like.

We have experience with transcription companies where copies of reports are required, and we cannot reach anyone in the office?

This can be very frustrating. Documents on Demand goes out of its way to allow easy access to us personally, be it via e-mail, fax, or phone, with appropriate response. We pride ourselves on our accessibility and reliability.

Can you work over weekends and Bank Holidays?

Our service is available 7 days per week throughout the year. However, we can not guarantee to deliver during bank holidays, on Christmas Day or on New Years Day. If you require work done urgently during holiday periods, please email our support team to confirm that we are able to deliver during the period in question.
